First aid is being given

At any moment, you or someone around you could experience an injury or illness. Using basic first aid, you may be able to stop a minor mishap from getting worse. In the case of a serious medical emergency, you may even save a life.

It is important to note that first aid is not medical treatment and cannot be compared with what a trained medical professional provides. First aid involves making common sense decisions in best interest of an injured person.

Definition: First aid is the immediate or emergency assistance given on the spot to injured person until medical treatment is available”

That means if we see a person is suffering from an injury or sudden illness. We give some emergency assistance to the illness person for the casualty’s instant relief on the spot at that moment before medical help arrives. That is called first aid.
